This will be the last notice of these two walks / workshops.

This will be the last notice of these two walks and workshops. They are almost full at this time. I will post on here when full.

The following walks and workshops will be held in Coyle, Oklahoma. In the mornings there will be a walk to ID plants and a time to collect what we need for our afternoon workshop. Following the walk we will have a potluck lunch followed by the workshop. The walks are free and the workshops have a $10 material and building use fee. You may sign up for the walk or the workshop or a combination of the two. When signing up please tell me if you are signing up for just yourself or if there are others you will be signing up for and state if you want just the walk or workshop or both. Walks are from 8 AM to 12:30 PM with the workshop to begin at 1:30 PM.

Tea walk and workshop, August 24th, 2013. We will be ID’ing wild teas in the field for our walk and the workshop will consist of preservation of these teas and information on if they are medicinal or an edible. Each person in the workshop will take home wild teas with them. We may throw in a couple of wild spices with this.

Cane walk and workshop, August 31st, 2013. This should be a good walk to ID wild cane and also other useful plants for crafts as well as a few wild edibles and herbs on the walk. We will be making cane mats and rugs at this workshop. To register, email tsitsalagi@gmail.com
